I think you're stretching the rule of thumb "attack a single checker, prime multiple checkers" beyond its limits of applicability. That piece of advice is more relevant when the position hasn't crystallized yet and either a prime or a blitz could materialize. Here, the primes have crystallized, and your checkers are very awkwardly positioned for a blitz, especially when the opponent's checker is deep on your 1pt. You might switch to a blitz if you got a sufficiently powerful attacking roll, but here a loose hit on the ace point just risks dissipating your main asset.
