There's the chicken play 10/6 8/5. But Black has no board, a blot in his home board, and we've got an advanced anchor. Those signs point away from "safe" play.

So, let's look for something more aggressive. We've got 13 checkers in the zone. Why not start a blitz? 8/1*

I think that's better than the next alternative which is to slot the 4 point. Attack a single checker, prime if there's more than one.
