There are a lot of ways one could get creative here, e.g., hitting with 8/1* or breaking the bar point to make the 4pt or 3pt. These don't seem to gain much, though. I'd just make the normal priming play of 10/7 8/4. I wouldn't be too worried about leaving a direct shot given that all the Magriel criteria (except for the even race) say that we can afford to be somewhat bold here. Thus stacking up with 10/6 8/5 or dumping blots on to low points to minimize shots seems overly cautious.

I guess the QF play is the super-pure 8/4 6/3 but that seems a little too wild.
