Opening 54 rollout, XG 3-ply

I note that the equity for S is similar to what we have seen before. The change is coming from the valuation of D. GNU plays all responses to D correctly and I believe that XG plays all responses to D correctly, so move selection doesn't explain the difference.
The "same equity" assumption (that you seem to be implying) doesn't really resonate with me. That can be largely coincidental as there are many factors two bots might employ to independently arrive at an equity. For example, if one bot has the absolute equities of both plays higher than another bot it may be worthy of note, but I'm mostly interested in the relative equities of the plays. It seems to me that checking for bot errors in reply to opening 54S (as well as to 54D) is relevant.
And in fact, Stick discovered that XG (3-ply) is misplaying two reply rolls, which helps explain a bit of the narrowness of the S/D margin, as discussed here.
