Suppose X has from 1-3 borne off and O has to snake a prime the entire length of the board. By modifying how good the snake is to start, for example putting a checker or two behind the loose blot at the edge of the snake or by making it start as a 5 prime, and by choosing just the right amount of checkers off for X there probably exists a position where X's GWC is just under 16.66%. X will win a high percentage of gammons because most of the wins occur when the snake sheds its skin at a vulnerable time. There may be a bg or two along the way also. X will also have cube power.

Something like that may solve your problem. Of course it will be very difficult to get an accurate win %age with such a long a long desert ahead for the snake.
