That is an inspiring move. When I first saw this position, I was really unclear about what to do. We are obviously miles ahead in the race, but all safe plays stack in a very awkward way. I also thought that a tactical play could be justified, involving 6/1*, putting a second on the bar; if hit back, we are still a lot ahead in the race, and the board of our opponent does not amount to much yet. My problem was to find a decent 3 to go with 6/1*. 13/10 leaves blots all over the place; 11/8 is stacky and removes building potential; 6/3 is ugly.

Now I like to combine your move with the idea of play 6/1*: How about 8/5 6/1*? If we get away with making the 5, that is great. Even if we are hit on the 5 and later on the ace, we will be ahead in the race.

Long message, but I'd go with 8/5 6/1*!
