Choosing between 24/18 and 13/7 is not easy for me. Being behind in the race would suggest the priming play 13/7, and it would be annoying to be unable to hit White's outfield blot (assuming it's still there next turn) because we're on the bar and can use only half our roll, so reducing shots seems useful. On the other hand the checkers on the ace point don't seem to be doing much and I would like to provoke contact and struggle for outfield control.

I vote bar/18.
