Blue's structure, along with White's lone back checker, point toward blitzing rather than priming. This makes 6/1* slightly more palatable than normal, but also makes stacking with 13/8 somewhat less of a worry. Blue is out-boarded, which argues against the loose hit. However, if Blue stacks, he'll likely continue to be out-boarded, so perhaps there's no time like the present. White makes a new point with 66 64 63 62 61 53 42 41 32 31 21, and runs to safety with 65. That's a lot of good rolls, making 6/1* a useful tempo hit as well. Since the plays otherwise look equally poor to me, that's the deciding factor and I'll play 6/1*.
