What's wrong with just writing the points where you place your checkers?

Nothing, of course.

This is just as quick and completely self explanatory, as opposed to nactation and your system which needs quite a bit of explanation and is hard to remember.

DASH is quicker and more compact, which can be an advantage when recording live matches or when space is limited. There is, of course, a trade off, as it requires a bit of memorization up front. I like the balance I've struck between ease of use (I disagree that it's hard to remember) and conciseness. I find it quicker and easier to read and write 22E4 than 22: 13/11(2) 6/4(2) or even 22: 11(2) 4(2). And I find it more intuitive and accessible than 22N.

Others may not.
