Do you mean from the point of view (or angle of attack) of the kicker, the holder is situated differently than if the ball were being placed (before and after the snap) on the field's centerline?

Here I'm assuming that the angle of the snap (line segment between center=snapper and holder) is always 90 degrees to the line-of-scrimmage. That wouldn't have to be the case but I think it is the actual practice for two reasons: best chances to prevent opponent from blocking the kick and minimal variance in the snap (so less chance of a bad snap), the latter being the primary reason.
