It was stunning that he didn't have his field-goal team lined up ready to run out on the field. What other possible scenario is there with 8 seconds before the long pass play? Hoping you have enough time to spike the ball is nuts. I believe if they lined up for the field goal fast enough they can snap the ball right when they restart the clock after moving the sticks.

I was rooting for Ole Miss after seeing 'The Blind Side', which I thought was very entertaining, BTW.
