CR/3-away is essentially DMP with the equity swing extremely large on a backgammon. As such, don't leave 7 blots lying around as you might at DMP. The extra ~1% from a free drop is virtually meaningless.

I really ought to be doing other things with my time (i.e., school), but try this on for size:
