Well if we can accept the merits of slotting on the opening roll with a 21, is this a better or worse time to slot than the opening?
It seems that the main new point making rolls that have been created by virtue of the builder on the 11 point is 41 and 64. Not much at all. So the primary threat created is more checkers in the zone and the attacking potential that creates. And so there is not an immediate substantially increased threat of being primed, meaning no increased urgency to split. The extra pointing numbers themselves are both rolls with 4s and therefore duplicated with the slot. Thus it seems that slotting against 52D should be stronger than slotting on the opening.
