As this is a correct Double-Beaver, it is of course correct for the doubling player to accept the beaver. Otherwise it would not have been a (correct) Double.

If he fails to enter or enters without hitting, it's a Redouble-Pass for sure.

As the doubling player is the underdog here, it would never be a Double at even match score. The only reason for doubling in this position is, that in money game (with Jacoby rule) gammons don't count. By doubling the player activates his gammons, and by such minimizing his average losses. But still he is an underdog! (visible by the negative equity in the rollouts)
