I don't understand what you mean by "historic stitches"??

I only use your bot a few times a year to check if it has a certain feature that crosses my mind, to my repeated disappointments :(, but the idea of displaying random images of backgammon in art is one thing I personally like about it also.

I was impishly implying that oil painting with hysterically psychogenic, err I mean historically misogynic "baffle busts"... ;)

It's your call but personally I wouldn't use photographs but color or black-and-white paintings, drawings, etchings, etc. in any medium and even in contemporary styles.

If you seach for "backgammon in oil paintings", you will instantly find a few dozens and if you search for broader terms like "backgammon in art", you will find even more. I bet it will be an enjoyable kind of work for you...
