Weird XG Bug - Doubling in DMP Games

I was trying a funny format where I'd play a DMP against "Distracted" with the caveat that if Distracted was a dog at the beginning of my turn... the board would flip ("Invert Players") up until contact breaks. I was mainly inspired by a chess video I saw on YouTube and figured it could be interesting enough to make content out of.

I guess XG got confused in all of this and started doubling me... even though we were playing a DMP game. Can anyone else recreate this?
