Just add up all the errors made (and decide if want MWC or normalized) in the entire match and that is the measure to use. Some guess could be made then of how to merge different matchlength results together.

This is *a* reasonable measure.

I've never claimed PR is the "best" measure -- I know the flaws, and they are nontrivial. I've even exploited the flaws -- almost always to gain one extra free "decision" without hurting my MWC.

There may not be a "best" way to measure aggregate errors. I just need SOMETHING that gives a reasonable measure of how well I'm playing in the aggregate.
