With checker play, the same error at the beginning of the match will have a much lower MWC error than when it occurs near the end. If you only focus on MWC for checker play, you wind up focusing on the wrong plays. That's the standard reason for using EMG instead of MWC.

The same might be said for cube action, and while checker play does depend on match score it's not as dependent on it as the cube action is. Which is to say that cube action in matches is largely dependent on the match score so attempting to "correct" for it is the wrong approach. IMHO.

If I had a summary of which match scores I was more likely to puff the cube action (according to MWC, not EMG) it could help me focus my study. Yeah, I could extract that info myself, but it would require a bit or work.
