Which advantage do you choose?

Regular 11 point backgammon match except you get to choose one of two advantages. Both players are aware of the choice you make.

CHOICE 1: In first game you start with a 31 roll.

CHOICE 2: Once during the match at the start of a game before the opening dice are rolled, you can call a 42 for yourself as the opening roll.
