I really dislike the rule of resetting the clock for cocked dice.

How does this work? Lets say you cock your dice and hit the clock, why should I have to bother to hit the clock to restart it when it was you who cocked the dice? Perhaps I don't understand something.

Oh and of course the clock should be stopped when the dice go off the table as they often need to be found on the floor.
