Tim,

My short answer is that there are many pluses and minuses to the new rule, and in my opinion, the minuses outweigh the pluses. I will update my web page to list them. If I use this response to list them all, then by next week this response will be forgotten, because it'll be buried by hundreds of other responses on other topics. That's one negative about social media and forums.

I appreciate all the responses from the bgonline community. They have given me more to think about.
