In Response To: USBGF rule for dice-on-checkers - opinion of Ken Larsen (Ken Larsen)

I know all you super smart BG intellects like to think and over think things, and beat the heck out of things w/ all your superior brain cells, but frankly this is just getting OLD. It's a done deal. Also, anybody who will never need to use the rule, like the person who does not play at any ABT events, or claims to be a Non USBGF player, no need to express your opinion. It wont matter for you EVER.

I will repeat myself, because I like to....
We played with the rule (notice I am not saying "new rule") at the CA Championships in December and nobody had an issue, it was fine, great even.
A month later at the NY Metro (my favorite tournament, so I am not bad mouthing it just stating a fact) we did not use the rule. It seriously sucked. It was annoying to have to re-roll a roll that did not really need to be re-rolled.

Change is good. Do something different w/ your brain cells. Exercise them and teach them to be a bit more resilient. Run for a position on the USBGF Board of Directors, we can use a few more BG Intellects, as long as you are the type that also likes to take action and not just pontificate all day. Action is good. Change is good. Welcome to 2017. Feng Shui the BG cobwebs out of your bodies. Throw out your leisure suits. They went out of style decades ago.

I am still super psyched that we now have a rule about using one set of dice, I even bought a clock!!!! I cant wait to use my new clock!!!! (but I might need somebody to set it for me, no way am I reading that little booklet).
