I love Bob, and have great respect for his mind,

I love Bob too, but not as much as Eva.

So I hope he will forgive me for taking the liberty of sharing this limerick I composed in his honor:

There once was a man named Bob
Being pedantic was his job
If you proposed a new rule
With delight he would drool
"What missives at this I shall lob!"
