How does a 1 point match ensure a quick outcome? I've played a back game that took 58 min, and it could have gone on for a good deal longer. And I've heard of a back game that took an hour and a half. All of these could have occurred in 1 point matches, perhaps even with a clock.

Given that what you say is undoubtedly true, and even if not, could certainly theoretically occur, and given that a player of Mr. Kazaross's experience and ability should certainly have known this, careful consideration must be taken to ascertain why he would have failed to alert the reader of this possibility when he carelessly used the word quick.

I have given this matter careful, deliberate and thoughtful consideration. As I consider Mr. Kazaross to be a person of high integrity and impeccable reputation, I shall give him the benefit of the doubt that this was done on his part with no malice aforethought, but rather in an attempt to use the English language in the normal manner of a reasonable person in an informal, non-contractual context, absent any evidence to the contrary.
