If this was a good natured ribbing then kudos, we did get a good laugh out of it. If it was for real though this has been covered many times in the past. I still argue and nobody has come anywhere near convincing me otherwise that this set up is by far the best forum set up for backgammon boards. Not forums in general, by any means whatsoever. I have run other forums in the past and there is a lot of newer fancier boards to be had and easily run and configured. While you could stuff some posts into categories such as Hardy's BG Forums there's still quite a bit there and you may never know where to look or where to put your post.

If you think these are antiquated then you clearly don't spend any time at another (once?) popular board rec.games.backgammon.

As I've always said, if there's a better board/set up someone show me. If there was it would likely exist already.
