I'm not failing to see anything. You asked earlier what more proof we need. The level of proof required depends on the charge being leveled. With what you've provided, I wouldn't play Brian for money on ACE. Maybe I'd scrutinize his play more closely if I played him on Gridgammon. I would NOT publicly declare him a cheater without far more conclusive evidence. As far as Ace, all I know is he played a 1.x on a site that allows you to ask for the best move. If you're allowed to ask for the best move, and you're willing to pay whatever they charge to ask for it, then it's no surprise you'd play a 1.x. Now, if he figured out a way to exploit the program to get unlimited Acepoints, or whatever they're called, for free, then ACE might want to ban him for that. But that's not cheating at backgammon. Not in the sense that that charge is being bandied about here.
