Come on.. A feature in an app is not cheating. This is BgAce. This is not real backgammon.

One can also play anonymously on BgAce. Why was this person's name even mentioned. I do not see anybodies real name out there on ANY online app game.

I heard you can "cheat" at the game angry birds by buying an eagle.. or you can look up how to pass a level on youtube.

that was popular enough that I think the cheating eagle is even in the angry birds movie coming out.

I also heard that one can cheat at candy crash by purchasing extra lives.

I remember when I was a kid I learned how to cheat at SuperMario.. we were able to skip levels and get bonus points.

I remember a Blackjack for TV show.. players were allowed to "cheat" once a round by using the BurgerKing "have to your way" chip. If they didnt like their card you can request another.

BgAce is a variation of backgammon. It is also easy to go into adeep backgames and have the other person time out. Different goals within the app call for different strategies....

1-Are you trying to win the most cash 2- Are you trying to win the most games-ELO rating 3- Are you trying to play for the lowest "pr" rating

These goal do NOT always coincide at all. Remember if you lose the ELO goes down.. so if you want ELO and you are playing for a small amount.. there is no reason to drop a regular cube.

Want money? Double immediately.. you may just get the cube back again immediately..

etc.. the app has parallel goals... it has daily, all time, special events etc.

I think the app is quite fun and since I like playing backgammon more than shooting slingshots.. I tend to play this app more than angry birds.. but I would not really consider this real backgammon.

BGace does do a great job getting more people introduced to backgammon. I assume almost 100% of people that complain about the "Ace" feature.. have never paid $1 to purchase tokens on the site.
