In Response To: The Giants List - A Great Institution in Backgammon (Martin)

In an election, a runner-up is someone who did not win, but was close. With respect to the Giants voting, the runner-ups are not Giants. They did not win the election as Giants, but they were close. When Ray Fogerlund was in this group a few years ago, he referred to himself as "extra large".
