I haven't had fish head soup, but I'm sure it's very tasty. I did have barbequed pig's face in Northern Samar and found it to be so delicious and enjoyable that I kept going back for more.

When meeting members of my companion's family, quite often I was asked if I had tried 'balut', which typically caused the room to break into laughter. I really got the sense that they would enjoy watching me eat balut much more than they would enjoy eating it, themselves. (Balut is a fertilized duck egg, about 3 weeks old, with a rather developed fetus inside the shell. It is often offered to tourists for the reaction value!) I politely declined :D
