The number of blots you leave by hitting twice and escaping are also important.

For example, let's say it goes 62: B/23*/17 66: Dance; 41: then I think you hit loose 10/5*. Part of the reason is that you are already escaped so need not fear to get blocked or to roll a root number like 44; part of the reason is the reduced number of blots and the reduced ease of hitting these. Of course, timing has swung partly against Blue as well, which is also a factor.
