Weekly tournament fee: how much?

I think the entry fee for the main tournament should be equal or less than than the side pool(s). Make sure there is a way to ensure players consume and pay for food at the place. That is one way to keep the venue open to backgammon. I was appalled to see players in Chicago (fortunately just a few) being hesitant to order food or drinks when they were playing a chou for $10 or $25 a point.
