Really, will no-one help me?

Not another book recommendation lol! When I worked in IT there were a lot of people who delighted in saying RTFM but know this forum is not like that.

I take playing and studying backgammon seriously and I know when I should take a post Crawford double, however, I did come across this situation against a poor player and handled it the way I thought best. Now I am asking for confirmation about it. XG is no help because it assumes it is playing itself and I haven't found anything at bkgm.com that is helpful in this. I thought some of the experts here might be able to help. Even if they say this is what I would do in this situation because …. and you can read more about it in this book.
