Hi Mike,

I see what you mean.

The extra board point (after 2+4) weighs stronger in the blitz-cube decisions than the 2 extra checkers in the zone (after 2+9).

On top of that the return hits (after 2+4) are less costly because of the extra board-point.

I now understand why so many votees are with (2+4).

I now think both variations are about equal.
