In Response To: Rule changes (Steven E. Carey)

Not so much of a rule change but we have implemented a system where we have monitors for the last 4 matches of a tournament. A monitor can :-

1. point out illegal moves 2. make sure the cube is returned to the centre after every game 3. announce the score after every game

This works well and stops illegal moves. We also allowed these designated monitors to watch any game and point out illegal moves. Several players loved the idea and no one complained even when there illegal moves were pointed out to them.

We also have made it a rule that the final will be played with a baffle box. One of Phil's boxes of course. Also if either player has a baffle box and wants to use it then both players have to use it.
