Nonetheless an interesting variation. Nackgammon is a fairly popular way of taking luck out of the game on gg. Trice used to be a regular.

This might be an extremely fun variation. As a standard I think it might be tough to get old dogs to consider change. Although a few players have risen to open class in less than 5 years most of us barely touch strong intermediate over a playing career.
