How do they play 21 if we make 3 and 4?

I would play quietly, bar/24 6/4.

There is a world of difference between trying the bananas split when you come in on the 2pt compared to when you come in on the 3pt. In the former case, the Dillies would be diversifying our hitting numbers by breaking their 4pt to hit loose. Any entering 3, 4, 5, or 6 would hit back. Furthermore, all of our checkers would be in front of the Dillies, available to build a prime. Entering aces play well in that regard, making the 7pt. After entering, the list of good numbers is anything except 2.

If the Dillies try the bananas split after entering on the 3pt, our hitting numbers would be limited to 3, 4, and 5. Our aces would not add a fifth point to our block.

In either case, we would be hitting with most any 3 or 4 no matter how the Dillies play, so this really comes down to offering two extra hitting numbers (5 and 6) with bar/23 4/3* compared to offering only one (5) with bar/22 4/3*.
