San Antonio Matches - BMAB Individual Applications

The Texan Championships will undoubtedly be a spectacular event yet again. Congratulations to the Tournament promoters and organisers for creating such a feast of backgammon.
Several players are planning to make BMAB individual applications (new applications or extending existing application) at San Antonio, including Mochy, Michy, Neil, Petko and Rory. These players will act as BMAB officials where they can act as witnesses where necessary, minimising involvement of the Tournament Director and his staff.
Other players have informed me that they wish to start new applications, and these have been registered. If other players are interested in participating on a similar basis then BMAB will be happy to accommodate, provided that the notification of intention is given before the start of the tournament. Please email me on rickjanowski@bgmastersab.com if this is the case.
If the applicant is not intending to record their own matches a simple option is to state that you wish to have all matches which are streamed (or otherwise recorded by the Tournament staff) plus any matches recorded by other players pursuing their own individual applications.
If the applicant is planning to record their own matches, for each event within the tournament (main, masters, etc), the player should stipulate from which round they wish to commence recordings. Please note that players should not avoid recording opponents because of some known or perceived skill differential. If this happens, the remaining matches in the tournament will not be rated.
