LOL. I have seen something that I consider even more bizarre. A player is forced to leave an ugly shot, and is convinced that his opponent will hit it. Miraculously the opponent rolls something that doesn't hit. Nevertheless, the player is convinced that he was hit, so on his turn, he grabs the blot that he was sure his opponent would have hit, and plays his roll as if the grabbed checker had been on the bar.
