Thanks, but I'm still a jerk for saying this.

I do want to add one thing I failed to point out. I do think it is great to acknowledge when someone has done something great for the game. I think it is right to mention when something is done at a tournament we think adds to the event, or when there is something we would like to see added. And when something is not done right, or it is something you don't like, that also should be pointed out so that it can be improved upon in the future (if pointed out nicely and constructively instead of barbecuing the TD if he makes a mistake.)

We will never all agree on what we think a tournament should have or not have to be great, but the more people who let the TD's know what they think, the more likely it is that things will change to accommodate more of the players.

Every change every TD makes will please some people and upset others...change is always a risk. Going to clocks, legal moves, recording matches, streaming matches....all terrific improvements to the game according to some, and horrible according to others. You can't please everyone, but it is important to please me.
