Congratulations to Akiko! Not enough space on the Internet to mention all the big tournaments, big jackpots and countless other events she has won on three continents over the last five years! Everyone already knows that she is a lovely person and a tremendously strong and determined competitor. Hoping to see Akiko and many other Japanese in San Antonio. We all wish her the best!

I bet if some US magazine editors knew about Akiko and the story of her amazing success on the international backgammon circuit, they would love to do a thorough article about her. Maybe someone knows how to contact them. Let's make it happen. It would be great for backgammon.
