I would have picked 23/15, but now see that the rollouts indicate 24/16 - interesting.

My logic for these positions (as flawed as it apparently is) is not to put a checker on a point that is (a) not overly valuable for me; (b) desirable for my opponent; (c) not of long term value for me

So, here, I dont want to put a checker on the 16 because thats one of the points that my opp wants to make - so giving him the opportunity to hit and leave it slotted at the same time seems like not the right idea.

Of course, its wrong. But at least I have reasons for my wrongness.
