What we aren't going to do:

  • We aren't going to fight for the 4pt. It's an even race, we are outboarded and out primed. Us getting hit back is too costly, 6/4* is out.
  • We aren't going to stay around and try to anchor with either 24/22 or (better) 23/21. Why not? Couple of reasons but stripping the midpoint is not appealing nor is staying there and likely being bopped around.

What we are going to do...run a back checker. I can tell you OtB I would run 23/15 even though I've seen a lot of odd exceptions to this habit. The exceptions are typically small differences in equity. I generally can't even explain them after staring at the position for 5 minutes. With the duplication of threes after 23/15 along with covering our entire outfield with that checker I'm not going to try to outsmart myself no matter what XG spits out. 23/15 for me.
