Suggested Idea for Performance Grading

Very cool (as expected) and refreshing. "Winning zone", stealing points, plundering your opp. with your intentional blunder..This is the real beauty of tournament play! I'll add an observation (probably public secret) of what helps winning. Last two days I have been sampling the RR of Carolina Invitational 2014- not all, just 20 matches. All fine players, best in the business, close matches (mostly). What was the parameter defining (and overriding all else)? THE LUCK factor(LF)! In 18 of 20 matches the player with positive LF won, the only 2 exceptions came when a relatively insignificant LF was present: P. Weaver lost to D. Todd with +0.713 LF, and again P. Weaver managed to win from J. Slomkovski with -1.151 LF. Could it be that a strong play leads to positions that are more prone to jokers? I know it's a very small sample, but just a thought..
