In Response To: Backgammon Literature (ah_clem)

I disagree completely regarding pre-bot era books. A lot of extremely useful information can be derived from reading those books if the reader is an "active" reader, meaning thinking critically and checking original positions and variants with bots.

With that in mind, 501 is a solid starter book.
