In Response To: Early 42 to play (Ian Dunstan)

With the 7 & 8 pts stripped down, I'll slot the 20, and play 6/4. I dont want to step into all the doubles, and I do want to make my homeboard, but early priority here is to generate some movement, and force some action since I'm down in the race already.

Its tempting to make the home 4pt, in the hope that white will be awkward enough to allow a fly shot, or maybe even catch a direct.

I dont know whats right, but instinct says step up and slot.
