Use the board.

Place a finger from one hand on the edge of the board next to the point that represents the tens and a finger from the other hand next to the point that represents the units.

E.g. for a count of 114, put one finger by the 11 point and another by the 4 point.

For counts of 130 or more, you need to do something different with the tens hand to indicate that you mean the far side of the board. I hold that finger slightly in the air (pointing further away), but you could use two fingers or use a different finger.
