A Critical Time in the Match

This is a critical juncture. If the Dillies are able to hit, and then go on to win after forcing a close recube on us, this decision may well turn out to have been the turning point. Conversely, if the Dillies cannot hit, and later go on to lose a gammon, this decision will almost certainly be viewed as the turning point.

After closely considering the choice, I was ultimately swayed by Bob Koca’s detailed analysis to switch my vote to the greedy play. That swung the team vote to 7-5 in favor of ripping a checker off. I am using my prerogative as captain to make this move not according to my preference, but instead in accordance with the advice of the majority.

I hope we got this right!
