This is a good bit of analysis. It is impressive in some ways. But there is an important likelihood it does not attepmt to quantify. I'm talking about repeaters. After ripping two off, we will be completely stripped except for an odd checker at the back of our formation. There will many rolls, perhaps on consecutive turns, that cause us to leave blots.

The risk you calculated is based only on our chance to be hit in the next exchange. A more complete computation needs to add in the downstream risk from repeaters.
