H (Hit) = bar/5*

The choice I see is between hitting loose, H = bar/5*, and making the 3pt, P = bar/20, 13/3, 8/3. A third candidate is running, R = bar/15 20/15(2), but that's no good because we would still trail by 21 pips.

I don’t like leaving a double shot when we are out-boarded 3-to-1, but I dislike the gappy position after making the 3pt even more. The downside to hitting is less than the upside. If we are hit, we will fall behind further in a race where we already trail. If we are not hit, however, we will have a good chance to improve our front position.
