I believe you are running into a bug that I have seen elsewhere and others experience as well. By any chance when you right mouse click the video does it suggest you are using HTML5 video player or Flash? I am betting HTML5.

It seems that with browsers that still use Flash and don't support WebM it will likely run fine (Internet Explorer 10 and lower). If you are using HTML5/WebM your browser cache is probably interfering. What happens if you clear your browser cache?

I have seen this issue with Chrome.
